Tranformative Healing Pathways
Healing Begins with Your Story
For women of color who carry it all
Healing doesn’t only happen in therapy sessions.
It also happens in community, in stillness, in moments where you feel safe enough to slow down and reconnect with yourself.
Lakay Within is a collection of intentional experiences created for Haitian women to pause, reflect, and receive care in ways that are often missing in our everyday lives.
Through this space, I offer:
• Monthly virtual gatherings for grounding, reflection, and gentle connection
• Intimate dinner experiences centered around care, worthiness, and meaningful conversation
• Retreats designed for deep rest, renewal, and reconnection
Each experience is rooted in a trauma-informed, culturally grounded, and gentle approach.
You are invited to arrive as you are.
You are allowed to slow down.
You are worthy of care.
LAKAY WITHIN
Healing beyond the therapy room
For the Ones Who Carry It All
You’ve learned how to keep it together—at work, at home, for everyone else.
You’re the strong one, the helper, the one people rely on.
On the outside, you’re seen as capable and resilient.
But inside, you’re tired—tired of holding it all in, tired of pushing your own needs aside, tired of pretending it doesn’t hurt.
Maybe you’ve told yourself, “I’m fine. Other people have it worse.”
But deep down, you know surviving isn’t the same as living.
Here’s the truth:
Carrying it all doesn’t mean you have to carry it alone.
You deserve more than just getting through the day.
You deserve peace. You deserve joy. You deserve to feel whole again.
Therapy is your space to finally put it down—
to process what you’ve been carrying, to make sense of your experiences,
and to create space for you.
You don’t have to keep holding it all.

Hi, I’m Aurelie
I’m not just any therapist—I’m a therapist for women of color and Haitian women who carry it all but rarely feel seen. I specialize in helping ambitious, capable women navigate the weight of trauma, cultural expectations, and the stigma that too often keeps our stories silent. Whether you’re dealing with the heaviness of past wounds, anxiety from trying to be everything for everyone, or simply wanting to feel like yourself again, I’m here to walk with you.
I know how it feels—balancing motherhood, career, and cultural identity, while holding space for everyone else’s needs. As a Haitian woman and a mom of two, I’ve had to navigate my own healing, unlearn generational patterns, and find strength in vulnerability. I understand the pressure to always be the “strong one,” and the exhaustion that comes with it.
That’s why I’m here—not just to listen, but to create a safe, non-judgmental space where you can finally put yourself first. Together, we’ll take real steps toward healing: easing the weight of trauma, reclaiming your peace, and building a life that feels lighter, freer, and deeply aligned with who you are.
