About Therapy
What to Expect in Therapy
Therapy is a safe, judgment-free space to explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences. Whether you’re feeling weighed down by stress, navigating trauma, dealing with anxiety or depression, or simply longing for a space that’s just for you, therapy can help you find clarity, relief, and new tools for living well.
I offer online sessions designed to be accessible and flexible, so you can receive support wherever you are. During your free consultation, we’ll talk through your needs, your goals, and what you hope to gain from therapy—and I’ll share my approach, so together we can see if it’s the right fit.
Healing takes time, but I’ve seen my clients gain insight, make meaningful changes, and reclaim their sense of peace. With commitment, therapy can transform how you relate to yourself, others, and the challenges you face.
Languages Offered
Therapy is available in both English and Haitian Creole to support clients in the language that feels most natural and comfortable.

Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
Your session time is reserved just for you.
Cancellations or reschedules require at least 7 days’ notice.
Sessions canceled with less than 7 days’ notice, as well as missed or late sessions, will be charged the full fee.
Therapy is not just self-care—it’s self-transformation. If you’re ready to take the next step, I’m here to walk alongside you.
Beyond Individual Therapy
While individual therapy is at the core of my clinical work, healing does not always happen in isolation or in one format alone.
In addition to therapy, I offer workshops, healing groups, and retreats designed to support reflection, insight, and restoration in community and immersive settings. These experiences are trauma-informed and intentionally structured to help individuals and organizations pause, reconnect, and begin deeper healing.
These offerings are educational and experiential in nature and are designed to complement—rather than replace—individual therapy.
Workshops & Groups
Workshops and healing groups bring people together in supportive, educational spaces focused on trauma, stress, emotional regulation, and community healing. These sessions provide practical tools while fostering connection and shared understanding.
To learn more about upcoming workshops and groups, visit the Workshops & Healing Groups page under Services.
Retreats
Retreats offer immersive opportunities to step away from daily demands and engage in reflection, grounding, and restoration. I facilitate both public retreats for individuals and organizational retreats for teams seeking sustainable, trauma-informed approaches to well-being.
Each retreat is carefully designed to create a contained, supportive environment where participants can gain clarity, release emotional weight, and leave with tools they can carry forward.

Meet Aurelie
I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, and my work is rooted in one simple truth: healing begins when we stop carrying it all alone.
As Haitian women and women of color, we’re often taught from an early age to be strong, selfless, and endlessly capable. We’re told to hold it together no matter how heavy the load—and when we struggle, we’re told to “try harder” or “be grateful.” But the truth is, you were never meant to carry this weight by yourself.
That’s where I come in.
My role is to create a space where you don’t have to perform strength. A space where your story, your struggles, and your voice matter. Together, we’ll uncover the patterns that have kept you stuck and build tools that help you live with more clarity, balance, and peace.
My Approach
I use a mix of proven, evidence-based methods and compassionate, client-centered care to meet you exactly where you are. My work is grounded in:
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT): shifting unhelpful thoughts and building healthier patterns.
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT): balancing acceptance and change while learning emotional regulation skills.
Trauma-Informed Therapy: creating a safe foundation for healing from past wounds.
Client-Centered & Psychodynamic Approaches: honoring your voice, your story, and your deeper emotional needs.
Parts Connection Work: integrating the different parts of yourself so you can feel whole again.
Whether we’re unpacking trauma, navigating anxiety, or learning to set boundaries, our work together is always collaborative and culturally sensitive.

Healing isn’t about doing more—it’s about doing it differently. You don’t need to be “the strong one” here. You just need to be you.
