TERMS & CONDITIONS

1) Acceptance of Terms

By accessing this website and/or registering for any offering provided by Transformative Healing Pathways—including Lakay Within virtual gatherings, retreats, workshops, events, digital resources, and educational content—you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

2) Educational Disclaimer (Not Therapy / No Client Relationship)

Although Aurelie Zephir is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), all services and experiences provided through Transformative Healing Pathways—including virtual gatherings, workshops, retreats, community events, and online content—are educational and wellness-based and are not psychotherapy, medical treatment, or clinical mental health services.

Participation in any Transformative Healing Pathways offering does not create a therapist-client relationship. These offerings are not covered by HIPAA and should not be treated as professional mental health care.

If you are experiencing significant distress, a mental health crisis, or need individualized treatment, please seek support from a licensed mental health professional in your area or contact emergency services.

3) Community Participation & Personal Responsibility

By participating in Lakay Within or any Transformative Healing Pathways experience, you acknowledge and agree that you are responsible for your own emotional, mental, and physical well-being during and after participation.

You understand that group reflection, guided practices, and community discussions may bring up emotions, memories, or discomfort, and you agree to engage at your own pace and comfort level.

4) Health & Safety

Participants are encouraged to honor their own limits and participate in ways that feel safe and supportive. If you have medical, psychological, or wellness-related concerns, please consult with a qualified healthcare provider.

Transformative Healing Pathways is not responsible for any injury, loss, or emotional distress that may arise from participation.

5) Payment Policy

Payment is required to confirm your registration for any event, gathering, retreat, or program.

6) Cancellation, Refund & Credit Policy

All sales are final. No refunds are issued for Lakay Within gatherings, workshops, retreats, or other offerings unless otherwise stated in writing.

Credits with Advance Notice

If you are unable to attend, you may request a credit toward a future offering of the same type, provided you notify us within the required notice period:

  • Virtual Gatherings (Lakay Within): 24 hours advance notice

  • Workshops / In-person Events: 7 days advance notice

  • Retreats: 14 days advance notice

Credit Terms

  • Credits must be applied to the same event type (example: Lakay Within credit applies only to future Lakay Within gatherings).

  • Credits are non-transferable and must be used within 12 months of the original event date.

  • To request credit, email [your email address] with your registration name, event date, and preferred future date (if known).

Requests submitted after the notice deadline may be reviewed case-by-case but are not guaranteed.

7) Event Cancellation by Organizer

If Transformative Healing Pathways cancels an event, participants will receive either:

  • A full credit toward a future offering, or

  • A full refund to the original payment method
    (at the organizer’s discretion or your choice — you can pick which you prefer).

8) Code of Conduct (Respect + Safety)

Transformative Healing Pathways is committed to creating a respectful and supportive environment. Harassment, hate speech, discrimination, threats, bullying, or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated.

We reserve the right to remove any participant who violates these expectations, without refund, in order to maintain safety and community care.

9) Confidentiality in Community Spaces

We encourage respectful confidentiality within community gatherings. By participating, you agree not to record, share, or distribute personal information shared by others.

However, because this is not psychotherapy and participants are not bound by legal confidentiality standards, Transformative Healing Pathways cannot guarantee the behavior of other attendees. Please share only what feels safe for you.

10) Intellectual Property

All materials, guided prompts, worksheets, recordings (if applicable), written content, and digital resources provided through Transformative Healing Pathways are the intellectual property of Transformative Healing Pathways and may not be reproduced, sold, redistributed, or used for commercial purposes without written permission.

11) Recording Policy

Unless explicitly stated, participants may not record any portion of the event (audio or video). Recording, photographing, or distributing content from the gathering without consent is prohibited.

12) Limitation of Liability

By participating, you agree to release and hold harmless Transformative Healing Pathways, its owner, and affiliates from any claims, liabilities, or damages arising from participation in events, gatherings, retreats, or use of online content.

13) Amendments

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Continued participation in offerings after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

14) Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the state/jurisdiction in which Transformative Healing Pathways is registered and operated.
